In Karnataka due to an explosion six people died
At least six people were killed after a series of gelatin sticks exploded on Tuesday. The blast occurred in the Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka. One person was reported injured. According to the original installation, the explosion occurred while trying to dispose of the gelatin sticks used for digging.
The deceased and the injured person were illegally storing gelatin sticks. Fearful of being attacked by the police, they tried to dislodge the gelatin sticks when that exploded. Six of them died, and one was injured.
Karnataka Minister Sudhakar said, "The bodies appear in different ways ... These are illegal explosives. This will be dealt with according to the law, strict action will be taken."
Further investigation is underway.
