India To Send Relief, Medical Supplies To War - Hit Ukraine

Depart from Delhi to Poland at 11am and 1pm!


India on Monday decided to send the relief supplies to Ukraine to help it deal with the humanitarian situation along its border areas that has arisen out of ten of thousands of people attempting to flee the Russian invasion. 

 

According to officials, a team of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is sending 100 tents and 2,500 blankets, sleeping mats, water storage tanks, protective eye gear, medicines, surgical gloves to the Indian Air Force's Hindon airbase. 

 

More flights carrying relief material are also set to depart from Delhi to Poland at 11am and 1pm today. The loading of the consignments was already done last night. 

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high - level meeting to review the efforts aimed at bringing back stranded Indians in Ukraine. Shringla noted, " PM Modi has also received call.

 

This happened as we were at the meeting, from the European Union Comission, Charles Michel. We are certainly reaching out diplomatically to all concerned to ensure the safety, security and protection of our citizens in Ukraine."

 

Then, Indian decided to send relief supplies to Ukraine to help it deal with the humanitarian situation along its borders due to the Russian invasion. 

 

Ukrainian envoy Igore Polikha thanked India for sending humanitarian aid to his country.
