Indian Ambassador to US says 'Thank you'

India’s Ambassador to US, Taranjit Singh Sandhu (TS Sandhu) has thanked Washington for helping India during the epidemic.

India's Ambassador to the US, Taranjit Singh Sandhu (TS Sandhu) has thanked Washington for helping India during the epidemic. Sandhu said, 'With the help of our friend and partner America, we are grateful to everyone who helped. Today the third flight is going to India, two have left before. Also, more flights will be sent to help.

It is noticeable that India's Ambassador to the US, Sandhu, discussed the matter with members of the business community on the current state of the Covid-19 epidemic in India. The US Chamber of Commerce hosted an online meeting on this matter on Thursday. During this discussion, Sandhu told the business community about the equipment that India needs. These include ventilator oxygen production plants, oxygen concentrators, cylinders and drugs like remdesivir and tocilizumab.

Sandhu tweeted, "We applaud the Chamber for prompt response and mobilization of resources from the American business community to support India to overcome Covid's challenge." Over the past few days, the US Chamber of Commerce has joined forces to bring medical supplies to India, brought together partners from other industrial organizations and liaised with the US government. Sandhu said that he had important conversations with Pfizer CEO Albert Burla.
