Indian Army and Chinese Army Pla Began Disengagement from the southern bank of Pangong Lake

The Indian Army and China's People's Liberation Army have started taking the first steps to withdraw armoured elements from the heights on the southern bank of Pangong Tso. Today the defense minister will tell the circumstances of the border in Rajya Sabha

A spokesman for China's Foreign Ministry said that on Wednesday, the disengagement process has begun in the south and northern shores of Pangong Lake between troops stationed on the frontline of China and India. On the other hand, information has been provided by the Defense Minister's Office of India that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will give a statement in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday9today) on the current situation of East Ladakh.

Disengagement between Indian and Chinese troops on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) has begun in New Delhi Eastern Ladakh. But this is just the beginning and the deadlock may take a long time to completely come to an end. Troops are still stationed on the frontline and Indian troops are still present on the important peaks south of Pangong Lake.

According to China, this step has been taken according to the agreement reached in the 9th round Corps Commander level meeting between India and China. However, according to Indian Army sources, the troops from both the armies have started reducing from behind and this is just the beginning. It can take a long time for complete disengagement.

Although according to Indian Army sources, there has been some reduction in the tanks deployed on both sides, soldiers are deployed on the frontline. Verification of each step will be done from both sides and only then the next step will be taken. He said that there has been no reduction in the promptness of the soldiers. Also, the important peaks on which the Indian soldiers are stationed in the southern shore of Pangong Lake, are still there. He said that there has been a backward movement of bus tanks.

According to sources, during the Indo-China Corps Commander Meeting, it was agreed to a great extent that Chinese soldiers would go behind Finger-8 in the north shore of Pangong Lake i.e., Finger Area and Indian soldiers should go behind Finger-3. Will happen. For about 8-10 months, the area of Finger-4 to Finger-8 will be no patrolling zone. According to sources, from the Chinese side it was said that even though the Chinese soldiers will go behind the Finger-8, they will keep on patrolling till Finger-4 and will not give up the right of patrolling. No one is talking openly about what has been decided about patrolling. According to sources, the process of disengagement has just started and many things will be clear as it progresses. According to an official, reversing the tanks will reduce stress, and hence the tanks have been started. Till now the deployment of the tanks of the two countries was such that each other's troops were in the full range of the tanks.
