An Indian Navy MiG-29K trainer fighter plane crashed into the Arabian sea later tomorrow evening, one pilot was found, one still missing


An Indian Navy MiG-29K trainers' plane crashed into the Arabian sea on Thursday after one pilot went missing and one pilot was rescued, officials said. The military confirmed on Friday that the accident happened at 5pm on Thursday. "One pilot recovered and searched the airplane and planes for the second pilot," officials said.An investigation has been launched into the incident, Navy officials said, adding that more details were still needed.

The officials confirmed that the plane had taken off from India's only flight attendant INS Vikramaditya. MiG-29K - Russian military aircraft - operates from the INS Vikramaditya deck, which took part in the latest Malabar maritime events involving Quad navies in the US, Australia, India and Japan in the northern Arabian sea.
