October 13- International Disaster Risk Reduction Day

It is a day initiated by the UN General Assembly for raising awareness in reduction of risk for disaster in 1989. We can say, 2020 is the year we saw how important & significant a day like these are; Where governance is judged with lives which could've been saved. Situations like COVID-19, climate change gives a hard hitting reply to human consciousness & negligence.
