Israel has continued his deadly air attacks on Gaza, in which at least 9,061 people killed in the Palestinian enclave. 1,400 people have killed in Israel. 19 soldiers have also been killed since the beginning of the ground invasion.

The Israel military has said it has surrounded Gaza City and is pressing forward, with a spokesperson adding that a ceasefire is “not on the table” despite international pressure.

A member of the Palestine Red Crescent Society has posted a video on Instagram showing injured people receiving first aid in a hospital, with the floor stained with blood.

He commented on the video, saying: “A number of displaced civilians and workers were injured as a result of the continuous shelling on the vicinity of Al-Quds Hospital.”

The United Arab Emirates’s minister of state for foreign affairs has warned that the regional temperature “is approaching a boiling point”.

“The risk of regional spillover and further escalation is real, as well as the risk that extremist groups will take advantage of the situation to advance ideologies that will keep us locked in cycles of violence,” Noura al-Kaabi told a policy conference in Abu Dhabi.

Al-Kaabi said the Gulf state, which in 2020 established full diplomatic relations with Israel in a US-brokered deal, is working “relentlessly” to secure a humanitarian ceasefire.

“Every effort must be made to protect civilians and immediately put an end to this conflict,” Kaabi added.
