New Delhi: Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida will pay a two days visit to India on March 20 and 21 to explore ways to expand bilateral cooperation in a number of areas including trade and investment.

The Prime Minister of Japan will hold wide-range of talks with his Indian counterpart Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They will cover the entire expanse of bilateral ties.

"Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida will visit India on March 20 to 21," the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said.

"During the visit, he will hold talks with Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. Both sides will discuss bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest," it said in an official statement.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said that the two leaders will also hold a discussion on priorities for India's presidency of G20 and Japan's presidency of the G7.

"They will also discuss their priorities and requirements for their respective Presidencies of the G7 and G20," the MEA added in his statement.
