"Jawan" Starring Shah Rukh Khan Sets New Record

First Hindi film to cross the remarkable milestone of Rs 1100 crore worldwide


Once again, Shah Rukh Khan's movie "Jawan" has made cinematic history by becoming the first Hindi film to cross the remarkable milestone of Rs 1100 crore in worldwide box office earnings, firmly securing its position as the highest-grossing Indian film of the year.

 

Red Chillies Entertainment announced the news on Friday evening via social media, stating, "Jawan continues to shatter box office records daily. Get your tickets now and watch #Jawan in theaters - in Hindi, Tamil, & Telugu," accompanied by a poster featuring Shah Rukh Khan.

 

Starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in important roles and directed by Atlee, the action-packed movie has earned an impressive total of Rs 1103 crore worldwide. Of this, Rs 733 crore came from the Indian box office, and Rs 369 crore was generated from overseas markets.

 

In India, Shah Rukh Khan's film has made a total of Rs 619.92 crore across all languages. This includes Rs 560.03 crore from the Hindi version and Rs 59.89 crore from the Tamil and Telugu versions.

 

The movie "Jawan" boasts a star-studded supporting cast that includes Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Ridhi Dogra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Girija Oak, Lehar Khan, and Aaliyah Qureishi. Notably, Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt also made cameo appearances in the action-packed film.
