JEE Main 2021 March results announced

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Monday announced the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 session. The organization conducted a major JEE trial from March 16 to 18, 2021, with more than 6 lakhs registered for that. The NTA released the final test key and question paper on March 24 after considering objections raised by candidates for the official temporary answer key.

Three candidates from Telangana and Rajasthan received 100 percentiles, namely Bannuru Rohit Kumar Reddy, Madur Adarsh Reddy, Josyula Venkata Aditya, and Mridul Agarwal, Zenith Malhotra and Rohit Kumar, respectively. There are two candidates from Delhi and Maharashtra and one from West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Bihar with 100 percentiles, including Siddharth Kalra, Kavya Chopra, Bakshi Gargi Makarand, Atharva Abhijit Tambat, Bratin Mondal, Ashwin Abraham, and Kumar Satyadarshi, respectively.

According to NTA data, 6,19,638 lakh registrants had registered for the March session testing which was held in six locations until March 18. The survey was conducted in 334 cities (including 12 cities outside India - Bahrain, Colombo, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, and Kuwait).

The test was performed amid tight security. A total of 707 observers, 261 city coordinators, 19 regional coordinators, six special coordinators, and two national coordinators were sent to these centres to monitor the proper implementation of the tests. The first JEE Main was held in February. The NTA released the results on March 8 when nine candidates won a 100 percent percentile. NTA scores are typical scores on multi-session papers and are based on the related performance of all those who were already being tested at the same time. The marks obtained are converted to a scale of 100 to 0 for each test session.

The organization said that Candidates were able to opt for one, two, three, four entrance exams. The tests were performed entirely in CBT mode. In order to make the assessment process more transparent, a Questionnaire and recorded answers are displayed on the website for verification by testers. To ensure the accuracy and visibility of the results, the keys to the questionnaires were displayed in advance to invite the challenges of the candidates, the agency added
