JIO Complains To TRAI Of ‘Unethical Practices’ Against Rivals.

JIO Alleges Airtel and VI Of propaganda

A company operated by Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio Infocomm on Monday accused its rival companies Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea for ‘unethical practices’ and ‘unscrupulous violations’ to the telecom operator of the nation Telecom Regulator Authority of India (TRAI).

In a letter written by Jio on December 10 it clearly mentioned that its competitors have created an impression that Reliance Jio stands to gain from the three farm laws introduced by the government this year. The farmers have been agitating for more than two week now at the Delhi borders demanding a complete roll out of the three farm laws as this will enable them to sell their produce directly to the government at the APMC mandis where they are assured a minimum support price by the government.

In the letter to the TRAI, Reliance Jio said “We once again bring to your kind attention that as a result of the aforementioned false propaganda of competitors to affect customer perception, we have been receiving a large number of port out requests.”

In a statement issued by Bharti Airtel it clearly mentioned that “We wish to empathetically deny this baseless charge.” It added that that company treats all their partners and competitors with respect.

Vodafone and Idea states that “It believes in doing business with ethics and Reliance’s allegations were baseless.”
