Joe Biden tests Covid Positive

Joe Biden tests positive for covid amid Cancer scares

USA President Joe Biden tested positive for covid, further emphasising that the infection from the virus is inescapable for all but even the most cautious and isolated. The White House announced that President Biden tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday morning and said that he is experiencing ‘very mild symptoms.

The White House released a letter, where the President’s physician Dr Kevin O’Connor said that he was experiencing fatigue, a runny nose and an occasional dry cough. Dr. O’Connor said, “I anticipate that he will respond favourably, as most maximally protected patients do”. The White House revealed that President Joe Biden is receiving Paxlovid, an antiviral drug used to minimize the severity of the coronavirus.

Joe Biden who is 79, even though he is double vaccinated and double boosted, caught the virus. This explains the severity of the infection of the virus which is inevitable and inescapable to everyone. President Biden will continue to isolate himself at the White House, but his press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre informed: “he will continue to carry out all of his duties fully during that time”. The White House also confirmed that Vice President Kamala Harris, who was the last person in President’s proximity, tested negative on Tuesday.

The news of Joe Biden testing positive came just hours after the US president triggered an alarm among the people by suggesting -in a comment replete with his familiar mangled syntax- that he had cancer. Biden was delivering a speech about global warming and oil emissions near his childhood home in Delaware as he said, “That’s why I and so damn many other people I grew up with have cancer and why for the longest time Delaware had the highest cancer rate in the nation”.
