According to the IANS report, " the funeral process will begin from the stadium at 9 a.m. on Monday after a brief halt at Atruli, it will reach Dibai where the last rites will take place around 3 p.m.", Aligarh BJP MB Satish Gautam said.
Chandrapal Singh said, "He always chose Atrauli over Dibai, but maintained the Aligarh is his janmabhoomi while Bulandshahr his Karam Bhoomi. Therefore he is being cremated in Dibai."
Meanwhile, thousands queued up to pay their last respects to the late leader and cries of Jai Shree ram and babu Ji Amar rahen was chanted. Whereas Prime Minister Narendra Modi, JP Nadda BJP president and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited leader's residence to pay tribute.
