Karnataka: Universities, Colleges Advised To Continue Online Classes

Universities to continue in online mode in Karnataka


Karnataka Higher Education Minister Dr. CN Ashwatha Narayan on Friday addressed that the universities and colleges shall have their online classes of all the semester irrespective of exams being pending.

In a statement," Mr. Narayan says " Only those universities and colleges who haven’t completed syllabus with their semester examination can continue with their online classes for remaining students who did their classes the examination will be conducted after the pandemic .

For Professional Courses like engineering, Narayana has asked the Vice-Chancellors/Principals to work out the details in proper guidance in consultation with Karnataka State Higher Education Council. For the postgraduate programs, this year admission processes for the first semesters were delayed in some universities due to the COVID situation also he added, in some universities where the P.G. program has been completed some semester but their exams are pending can continue with their next semester studies later when the situation becomes better examination will be conducted. The minister added all the classes will continue to happen in online mode.
