Key Points From 'Mann Ki Baat': A Step Towards Victory By PM Narendra Modi

A month’s radio programmed show from which the PM addresses the nation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inscribed the entire nation by-way of the monthly programmed radio show ‘Mann ki Baat' on Sunday. The PM said the country will stand with the brave soldiers and urged people to light a lamp for the army jawans while celebrating the festival. While lighting lamps for soldiers we must remember their bravery, how they have devoted their lives to the country for our safety and betterment, while staying away from their families.

The PM said soldiers guard the border during this festival; we must celebrate after remembering them. We must light the lamps for the brave sons and daughters of the ‘Mother India' who have devoted their life’s for the country.

Don’t forget those who are there for us in this pandemic time who risked their life for your safety. Those who were associated with the society. We should support them because without them we haven’t survived this global pandemic.

This year many festivals have been celebrated with restrictions for the safety purpose. One of the biggest festivals in India is Durga Puja where a large number of people gather for the celebrations, but this year unlike the previous year’s this couldn’t happen due to COVID-19.

We have to celebrate our festivals very carefully this year, not only for us but also for our loved ones. We have to follow the safety measures and the guidelines.

Dussehra is celebrated as the symbol of victory of patience over crises. Today we are all living in prohibition, celebrating the festival with utmost humility. Therefore, in COVID-19 battle, we will certainly fight for victory, said the PM.
