"Lab on wheels" inaugurated by Manish Sisodia

"Lab on Wheels"


Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia, inaugurated  "Lab on Wheels" which is part of Delhi technical university (DTU). This lab has been created to mainly focus on underprivileged students of Delhi government school and it will impart science education to students.

Manish Sisodia also inaugurated DTU's  new classroom complex Pragya Bhawan and a new centre for the department of design.

Talking about Lab on Wheels, It is mainly a customised bus with 17 computers, two televisions and a 3D printer, camera, and normal printer which will roam around the city to give lectures, tutorials, educate children. The Lab will also guide students in the domain of maths, science and advanced technology. 

Manish Sisodia said that "This lab will add joy to students in learning and will act as a guidance and information. He also urged 14,000 students of DTU to become mentors for at least one student so that the students of Delhi's government school can get proper guidance and education as well their dreams for further studies in the field of engineering can be completed. He further added that "only building and infrastructure will not help to bring a change in mass education, we need to empower our educational institutions to set minimum benchmarks so that students could stand on their feet".
