The blissful Navratri festival is considered one of the holiest festivals of the Hindu culture. It is dedicated to the nine avatars of Goddess Durga and each day is dedicated to one avatar of the goddess.

Today, the holy festival of Navratri has started and it is time to worship deity Durga. The nation has been taken over by the vibes of holy festival and temples across the nation have been geared up for Navratri 2021 which will last till October 15.

Amid this, the Vaishno Devi temple which is based in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir has also geared up for the arrangements that have been done to organize the festival. People have done special preparations with enthusiasm and fervor. Due to the pandemic, the festival is being celebrated on a low scale and many people have been vaccinated to curb the spread of the disease.

This year the temple has organized the festival keeping in view the Covid-19 protocols. Last year, this festival was not celebrated due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
