LONDON: POLICE ARRESTED A MAN WHO THREW EGG ON KING CHARLES III

New Sikh Temple and New Public Transport System


A 20-year-old man who threw egg towards king Charles III during a walkabout arrested by London police on Tuesday.

 

While during a visit to York in northern England the monarch narrowly avoided being hit by eggs thrown in his direction, the arrest in Luton, came less than a month in North of London.

 

During a visit of opening a new Sikh temple and a new public transport system, King Charles, 74, was in Luton to meet community leaders and voluntary organisations.

The man arrested was detained outside Luton Town Hall and taken for questioning, Bedfordshire Police said.

 

On November 9, In York, a man heard shouted “this country was built on the bool of slaves” and “not my king” while throwing eggs at Charles and Queen Consort Camilla.

The suspect was later released on bail.

 

King Charles on death of her mother, Queen Elizabeth II, after her death in September, she was buried after a state funeral and 10 days of national mourning.

 

King Charles took over as head of state after there were some protests against the hereditary principle of monarch.

 

Buckingham Palace last week faced fresh allegations of racism, after a senior courtier quit for repeatedly asking a black British charity worker where she was “really” from.
