LPG Cylinder Blast in Delhi Leaves Four Injured

Explosion in Kamal Vihar Area Prompts Emergency Response


On Friday, in the Kamal Vihar area of West Delhi, a house experienced a fire and explosion due to an LPG cylinder, resulting in burns for four people, according to the Delhi Fire Service authorities.

 

At approximately 7:30 pm, the Delhi Fire Services (DFS) received information regarding the explosion. In response, three fire tenders were rushed to the scene. Four injured individuals were located and swiftly transported to a nearby hospital, according to an official from the DFS.

 

Local authorities were notified, and they have initiated an inquiry into the root cause of the fire. Legal measures will be pursued accordingly, as stated by the police.

 

The injured individuals have been identified as Geeta (45), her son Nitin (21), and two minors, aged 17 and 10. All four of them have been promptly taken to GTB Hospital for medical treatment, as confirmed by a police officer.
