LPG Cylinder Prices Reduced…

Indian Oil cuts prices of 19-kg commercial LPG by Rs 115.50

A sigh of relief after a long span, the prices of the Liquified petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders have been reduced.

Indian Oil cuts prices of 19-kg Commercial LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) by Rs.115.50 per cylinder in the national capital with immediate effect.

With this latest price revision, a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder will cost Rs 1,744 instead of Rs 1,859.50 in Delhi.

The latest cut to price comes exactly a month after the previous one and marks the sixth consecutive reduction in prices since May 19, 2022.

As per the information, Domestic cooking gas cylinder price will, however, continue to remain steady.

It was also reported on Monday that state-owned oil marketing companies (OMCs) are likely to reduce the prices of petroleum products such as petrol and diesel by 40 paise a litre from November 1, 2022, as the price of international crude oil fell.

Petrol and diesel prices were last revised to align with the cost on April 6 and have been on freeze since then. In May, rates were reduced after the government cut the excise duty on petrol by Rs 8 per litre and that on diesel by Rs 6.

As per the information , the prices of commercial LPG cylinders are dependent on international prices and therefore they move in tandem. In the national capital, the price of domestic LPG cylinder is Rs 1,053 per unit. Besides, in Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai, it sells at Rs 1,079, Rs 1,052.5, and Rs 1,068.5, respectively.
