LPG cylinders to cost more, increment of Rs 100

No change in Price


The price of the domestic liquefied petroleum gas( LPG) for commercial use has been increased by rupees 100 by the oil Marketing companies (OMCs) .

The prices of LPG gas and fuel prices of Petrol and diesel are always in the limelight.  The prices frequently fluctuate and creates a problem to manage the daily life schedule. Majorly the prices of the metro cities peak high with petrol, diesel and LPG gases. 


A 19 Kilogram commercial cylinder will cost for rupees 2,101 in the National capital Delhi, rupees 2,051 in Mumbai , Rupees 2,174 in Kolkata  and  rupees 2,234.50 in Chennai. This is for the second consecutive month that the prices have increased.


However, there is no increment  in the  price of other domestic cylinders weighing 14.2kg, 5 kg, 10kg composite or 5kg composite cylinders. A 14.2kg Domestic cylinder in the national capital will cost ?899.50 and the 19kg commercial cylinder is costing ?2,101. Earlier on November 1, prices of 19kg Commercial cylinder had seen an increment of ?266, which hyped the price to ?2,000.50. On October 1, prices of 19kg commercial cylinders were increased by ?43 and decreased by ?2.50 on October 6. On September 1, the prices of these cylinders were increased by ?75.


LPG Cylinder Rate is revised monthly for all over the States and Union Territories in India.
