LPG Price Hike!

Commercial LPG price hiked by Rs.350.50...


On 1 March 2023, the petroleum and oil marketing companies increased the price of commercial liquid petroleum gas (LPG) by Rs. 350.50 per unit and the price of domestic LPG cylinders hike by Rs. 50 per unit, with an immediate effect from today.

As per the information, the revised rate for the cylinders is as follows: the commercial cylinder (19 kg) will now cost at Rs. 2119.50 per unit, and the domestic cylinder (14.2 kg) will cost Rs. 1103 per unit in the national capital.

This is the second highest hike by the petroleum and oil marketing department in the LPG price this year. The first hike was implemented on 1 January 2023 with a rise of Rs.25 per unit in commercial cylinder and revised at Rs. 1,769.
Earlier, a hike of more than Rs. 350 was seen in the year January 2014.
