Madhya Pradesh schools to reopen from 26 July

Classes will run with 50 per cent capacity to ensure social distancing and prevent students from getting contaminated with the deadly virus.


Madhya Pradesh government has taken a big decision of reopening schools in the state for classes 9 to 12 from July 26.

According to the Madhya Pradesh government, the classrooms will be open for offline studies for only two days a week. Class 11 students will attend school on Tuesday and Friday, while class 12 students will attend school on Monday and Thursday. Whereas students of classes 9 and 10 will attend one day of the week. For class 9 it is Saturday and for 10 is Wednesday. The guidelines also stated that classes will run with 50 per cent capacity to ensure social distancing and prevent students from getting contaminated with the deadly virus.

Meanwhile, instructions have been given to the local administration to check the coaching institutes whether the covid-19 protocol is being followed properly or not. Teachers are also required to be vaccinated on priority till July 31.
