Maharashtra government cancels 10th class Board Exams

After CBSE, ICSE and some states, Maharashtra has also cancelled the class 10 examination. On Tuesday, April 20, the state Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray (CM Uddhav Thackeray) took this decision in the state cabinet meeting. After the discussion, the state Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that this year the board examination of 10th will not be taken in Maharashtra. All the students of Maharashtra Board 10th will be promoted to 11th without examination. However, the state schooling department will decide whether or not there will be internal assessment.

Maharashtra's School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has also given information about this through a tweet. He said that due to the worsening condition of the Covid-19 epidemic, the state government has decided to cancel the state board 10th exam. After taking such steps by other boards, we have also taken this decision. Varsha Gaikwad said that how will the result of the students without examination be made, for this we will soon prepare a process and announce it. While the decision on Maharashtra Board Class 12th examination will remain the same as before. The 12th examination will be delayed for the time being. A new schedule will be released after the situation becomes better.
