Man is arrested by BSF…
On Thursday, 09 March 2023, A Bangladeshi national was arrested by the Border Security Force (BSF) when he was trying to cross the International Border and enter India, said a BSF spokesperson.
The man was apprehended on the intervening night of March 8 and 9 in the area of border post Rajatal in Amritsar sector of Punjab, the official said.
“He was fired upon by Border Security Force troops and subsequently arrested there itself.
During his initial questioning phase, he revealed his personal identity as a Bangladeshi national”, the BSF spokesperson to the media.
“Further questioning will be done in this matter and the next course of strict action against this will be taken,” he further added.
