Chopped his father's body in UP


On Sunday, a 30-year-old man killed his 62-year-old father over a property dispute, chopped his body into pieces, and transferred them to a suitcase for disposal in Suraj Kund Colony, which is under the jurisdiction of Tiwaripur Police Station in Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh.

 

As per the information, the incident came to light when the brother of the accused, Prashant Gupta, filed a complaint and approached the police for an investigation.

 

Following the complaint, the police logged a case against the accused, identified as Santosh Kumar Gupta alias Prince. The accused allegedly killed his father with a hammer when he was alone at home. Later chopped his body up and hid it in a suitcase to dump in the street behind his house.

 

According to SP Krishna Kumar Bishnoi, the police recovered the body part of the deceased, identified as Murli Dhar Gupta, and sent it for a postmortem.
