Man on bike dies after Chinese manjha slits his throat

On Saturday evening, the hospital said he was brought dead at the hospital with neck injuries.


A 23-year-old man died after his throat was slit by the banned Chinese manjha while he was on his way to his relative’s house on a two-wheeler in Outer Delhi’s Mangolpuri-Sultanpuri flyover on Saturday evening. The victim was identified as Saurav Dahiya a resident of Najafgarh who had completed his graduation.

Saurav was taken to Saroj Hospital by a man who was riding at a distance behind him. The hospital declared him brought dead. As per the post mortem report, his death was caused by excessive bleeding from the injury on the neck.

DCP (Outer district) Parvinder Singh said in the inquiry, Saurav was driving his bike on the elevated flyover between Madhuban Chowk and Peera Garhi chowk when the manjha entangled his neck where he fell and sustained injuries.

A case has been registered against unknown persons and the police are trying to find the culprits who were using the banned manjha.
