Maximum Temperature In Delhi Could Reach 35.7 °

National Capital Witnesses Scorching Heat!


Just Before the arrival of Holi, the temperature level in the National capital and nearby states and the National capital region (NCR) are witnessing extreme heat conditions. 


The Capital city's maximum temperature could reach 35.7 degrees today. According to the India meteorological department the national capital experienced a warm morning on Saturday with the minimum temperature settling at 19.8 degrees Celsius.


Not only Delhi, The maximum temperature in Barmer district of Rajasthan was recorded above 35 degree Celsius. 


On Thursday, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi was recorded in the moderate category at 190, said the SAFAR India Air Quality Service.


According to the Government data, An AQI between zero and 50 is considered good, 51 and 100 satisfactory, 101 and 200 moderate, 201 and 300 poor, 301 and 400 very poor, and 401 and 500 severe.


Meanwhile, the city also recorded this month’s highest minimum temperature of 21.7 degrees Celsius on Friday, the India Meteorological Department said.

 

Delhi’s 24-hour air quality was recorded in the ‘poor’ category (293) at 4 pm, data from the Central Pollution Control Board showed (CPCB).
