Delhi Shakes due to earthquake
Delhiites were in for a rude shock on Thursday night at around 11:40, when an earthquake of medium intensity hit the delhi NCR region. People were seen rushing out of their homes in panic in spite of freezing cold. The epicentre of the earthquake was 48 km southwest of Gurgaon in Haryana, according to India's National Center for Seismology. Strong tremors were felt in Delhi and surrounding areas for almost a minute. However no damage to life or property was reported.
