Robbers Get Away with Phone and Rs 12,000 Cash in Delhi Incident

In South Delhi's Lodhi Colony, two guys on motorcycles robbed a 57-year-old woman from Hungary who was traveling in an autorickshaw, according to the police report on Monday.

The robbery happened at about 3 pm on a Sunday while the woman was on her way from Humayun's Tomb to the Hungarian embassy.

A senior officer explained that when the autorickshaw approached Dayal Singh College, two men on a motorcycle approached from behind and grabbed the woman's bag, which had her mobile phone, Rs 12,000 in cash, and bank cards inside.

The woman couldn't see the motorcycle's registration number, and the police came to the location after receiving a complaint about the incident, as mentioned by the officer.

The police have filed a case under Indian Penal Code sections 356 (attempted theft with assault) and 379 (theft), and they are currently investigating to catch the culprits.
