Menstrual Blood for Black Magic Practice

In-laws arrested for forcing woman to give their menstrual blood for the Aghori practice


On March 10, 2023, the police logged seven people as per the complaint by a 28-year-old woman, including her in laws and her husband, alleging that they forced her to give her menstrual blood for black magic practice in Pune.

 

According to the senior police inspector Dattatraya Bhapka of Visharant Wadi police unit, informed that the victim woman registered a complaint against her husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, and her nephew under sections 377 (unnatural offense), 354 (molestation), 498 (enticing, or taking away, or detaining with criminal intent a married woman) of the India Penal Code and relevant sections of the Maharashtra Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice and Other Inhuman, Evil, and Aghori Practices Act and the Black Magic Act.

 

As per the information, the woman married in 2019 in Beed district of Maharashtra, and in August 2022, some of the accused forced her to give her menstrual blood and fill that in a bottle with the help of cotton, as her brother-in-law would get 50,000 in return for the menstrual blood.
