Finally After 2 Years A Cruel Relative Got Punished For His Cruelty With A Minor Girl.
On Monday, December 21, 2020, a local court in Assam's Biswanath district awarded the death sentence to a man for allegedly raping and brutally killing a five year old minor girl. According to a report, this cruel incident took place in 2018 at Dekorai tea Garden under Sootra Police Station in Biswanath district. The accused was a relative of the minor victim. One day he went to the victim's house for some work. The accused identified as Mangal Paik, then lured the minor girl and took her to a nearby jungle area by promising her chocolate.
In the jungle, behind the bushes the accused raped the minor girl and brutally murdered and hid the body somewhere in the jungle. The victim's parents searched their little girl everywhere but couldn't find her, neither saw the accused again. Later, the family member of the victim had lodged complaint at Sootea police station and later after few days, the police officers recovered the body of the victim and arrested the accused.
A case (206/2018) was registered at Sootea police station against the accused under various sections of the IPC and POCSO Act. After 2 year, on Monday, December 21, 2020, the Additional District and Session Court in Biswanath district his majesty pronounced the accused Mangal Paik, guilty under section of 363, 376 (A), 302, 201 of Indian Panel Code (IPC) and under section 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act for rape and murder.
The accused will be hanged soon.
