Mission Buniyaad to be implemented in all EDMC Schools

The Delhi Govt. made this announcement!


The Delhi government announced to implement mission Buniyad and NIPUN Bharat program in East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) schools.

 

As per the information, the meeting was held at civic headquarters with the principals of the schools. Whereas The Delhi government announced to launch of 'Mission Buniyaad' to improve the learning skills of children studying in state and municipal-run schools.

 

National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy (NIPUN Bharat) was launched in July 2021 under the aegis of the centrally sponsored scheme of 'Samagra Shiksha'.

 

Under the 'Mission Buniyaad' program which will run from April to June for Classes 3 to 5 in civic schools and Classes 6 to 8 in government schools, children undergo a reading level assessment based on which they will be enrolled in specialised 'Mission Buniyaad classes'.

 

The mission aims to achieve universal foundational literacy and numeracy in primary classes. Similarly, the 'NIPUN Bharat' program is specially designed for children in the age group of 3-9 years.

 

According to the statement given by the Municipal Commissioner Vikas Anand, He said in this direction, a mega parent-teacher meeting is being organized in all schools of the corporation on April 16 in which parents will be informed about the two programs in detail.

 

Delhi government is quite active when it comes to different types of educational programs including benefits for school-going students and development. Many more initiatives have been run by the government to make it brighter and known.
