Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot has given this confidence in an online meeting with auto and taxi drivers on Sunday. With this, he has said that those people who were not registered for any reason last year and could not get the amount, such drivers will be able to register themselves from Tuesday.

Arvind Kejriwal, who heads the ruling Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi in the wake of the coronavirus infection epidemic, announced a financial assistance of Rs.5000 to permit holders of auto-taxis, e-rickshaw owners and other small commercial vehicles, like last year. The proposal has now been approved by the cabinet. That PSV (Public Service Vehicle) badge holders whose badges and licenses were valid till February 1, 2020 are also eligible for the scheme.
