Motera cricket stadium renamed from Sardar Patel to Narendra Modi Stadium
President Ram Nath Kovind inaugurated the revamped largest cricket stadium in Motera, Gujarat which has now been renamed to Narendra Modi Stadium on Wednesday. Popularly known as the Motera stadium the cricket ground was earlier known as Sardar Patel Stadium has now been renamed after the Prime Minister Narendra Modi who was also the former president of the Gujarat Cricket Association.
The Narendra Modi Stadium, the largest cricket ground in the world is all set to host its first international Day-Night Test match between India and England on Wednesday.
