Mr. Mohammad AMIN, Chief Guest at National Institute of Mass Communication's 'KARVAAN 2021'

National Institute of Mass Communication celebrated KARAVAN- 2021 on 10 August, to commemorate, a workshop on Broadcast Journalism.For this event, Chief Guest, Mohammad Amin was invited to shower his blessings and share his experiences with the students


National Institute of Mass Communication celebrated KARAVAN- 2021 on 10  August, to commemorate, a workshop on Broadcast Journalism, conducted by the National Academy of Film and Television in Collaboration with NIMC, from 28 th June till 31st July. The workshop was based on News reporting, news anchoring, scriptwriting, photo-video journalism and editing where experts from the field were invited to enlighten the students.

For this event, Chief Guest, Mohammad Amin was invited to shower his blessings and share his experiences with the students. He has worked  as a  Diplomat with External Affair Ministry (Government of India) Joint Director/Chief of Protocol in the Election Commision of India,  Protocol Officer with MoS/Cabinet Ministers,Deputy General Manager PR ( Airport Authority of India )  He was also a member of the Indian Government Haj goodwill Delegation and served as a  special coordinator for Haj 2006 in consulate General of India, Jeddah . An avid social worker Mr. Amin is currently incharge of the BJP's Minority Cell.

The event was sponsored by COBSE, National Institute of Film and Television, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Vocational Education, ITV, Times Magazine India, NBC Hindi and Hindustan Pharmaceuticals.Whereas this event took place in Surya Hotel, New Delhi. During the event the students were awarded with awards and certificates for showcasing their talent in their respective fields. 

Seema Hasan, Director of the National Institute of Mass Communications was also present during the event, She honoured our respected Chief Guest Mr.  Mohd. Amin with the shawl and welcomed him with a bouquet, as a token of appreciation. Mr. Amin distributed trophies and awards to the winners and also talked about his association with the profession of journalism and urged the students to follow the path of ethical journalism once they venture out in the field and play a positive role for the betterment of the society.
