Mughal road in Agra renamed as "Maharaja Agrasen Road"

BJP has renamed many roads


On Thursday, the Mughal road in Agra was renamed as "Maharaja Agrasen Road."


As per the statement given by Agra mayor Naveen Jain said, "The Mughal road in Agra has been renamed as Maharaja Agrasen Road. He has thousands of followers in Kamla Nagar, Gandhinagar, Vijayanagar colony, New Agra Zone, Balkeshwar areas. They had come here on the occasion of renaming of the road and paid their tribute to him" adding more the mayor said, "the upcoming generation should be inspired by the prominent personalities."

According to the mayor, he said idols of great personalities will be set up in two parts of the state." A statue of Gokula Jat, a great warrior will be installed in front of Victoria Park. Also, a statue of Maharana Pratap will be set up at Yamuna kinara. We have asked the Chief Minister yogi adityanath and union Home minister Amit Shah to inaugurate the statue."

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led government has brought a lot of changes during the last few years. Many names and other places have been renamed and changed under the Yogi Adityanath led government in Uttar Pradesh.
