Mumbai Goes Standby Due To Massive Power Cut

Mumbai facing a massive power cut.


Mumbai goes on standby as it hit the massive power cut since 10 am. Peoples in many parts of the city have complained about the blackout in their areas. Some local train services have also been stopped due to the power cut. People have also complained that they are facing difficulty in using broadband and unable to do their work from home. Students are finding it difficult to cope up with online classes and adults are struggling with office work load.

A major electricity failure in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) had different massive power cut. The Brihanmumbai  Electrical Supply Transport (BEST), who is responsible for the power supply in the city has confirmed the development.

‘The supply is interpreted due to TATAs upcoming electrical supply failure. Inconvenience in regards, “ said BEST.  Many people from different parts of the city have complained about the power cut on Twitter. The train service has also been disputed due to gird failure.

At Raigad district, 46 substations have been shut down to avoid the massive damage. Mumbai CM Uddhav Thackeray has spoken to the State Power Minister Nitin Raut and BMC commissioner about the gird failure in Mumbai and gave the direction to restore as soon as possible. According to the recent reports the power supply has been resume in some of the area. Local train service has also resumed. Maharashtra Mister said that the power will be resumed in approximately one hour. The workers have been working on the situation so resolve outages.
