Narendra Modi address rallies in poll-bound Kerala and Tamil Nadu

On Friday Prime Minister led Narendra Modi will address rallies in poll-bound Kerala and Tamil Nadu.


P.M. Modi addressed a public rally at the Amma Thidal grounds in Tamil Nadu’s Madurai at 11.30 a.m in morning today. The P.M.traveled by road along with Ministers such as Chief Minister K. Palaniswami, Deputy Chief minister O.Panneerselvam. Modi arrived at Madurai on Thursday night, and visited the famous Arulmigu Meenakshi Sundareshwar Temple clad in traditional Tamil attire of "Veshti", white shirt and "Angavastram" during the visit.

PM Modi will travel to Kerala where he will attend a public meeting at RG Indoor Stadium in Pathanamthitta. He will again return to Tamil Nadu to attend another public meeting at Vivekananda College Ground in Kanyakumari around 4.15 pm. He will then move to Kerala’s Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram to address a third public meeting at 6.15 pm as per the schedule. His official account handle also shared some  pictures on the social account where the P.M. can be seen with temple priests and was accorded ‘poorna kumbha’ honour in traditional attire.

Elections to 234 Assembly seats in Tamil Nadu are slated in the first week of April and where BJP is facing the polls in alliance with the ruling AIADMK. BJP is also contesting in the Kanyakumari Lok Sabha by-poll, necessitating the death of congress MP H Vasantha Kumar, who died due to COVID-19, in 2020.
