The Earth Radiation Budget Satellite also known as ERBS was launched in 1984. It was expected to work lifetime was two years. The satellite continued to work on ozone-making measures and to calculate the other atmospheric measurements with satellite until its retirement in 2005, after that the satellite worked on how the earth absorbs the energy and radiation from the sun.
