Delhi Government eases lockdown restrictions


In National Capital, all Shops, malls and restaurants will open from today as Covid numbers in Delhi drop to a three-month low. Hence ease in the restriction of covid-19. Every facility will be open whole week instead of the current odd-even system. Chief Minister led Arvind Kejriwal said that this will be happen on trial basis for a week to analyze the condition and otherwise strict action will be taken if the Covid cases rise.

Kejriwal also stated that shop timings will remain the same, from 10 am to 8 pm, Restaurants which were open only for takeaways and home deliveries can now have seating with only 50 per cent of capacity. Weekly markets have also been allowed with 50 per cent vendors and only one market per day will function in each municipal zone. Salons facilities can be available, Government offices can open with full capacity as well as private offices open with 50 per cent capacity. Delhi Metro and buses will run at 50 per cent capacity.

CM also stated that, Some of the place will remain shut like Spas, Schools, colleges and educational Institutions. Also Swimming pools, amusement parks, water parks will also remain shut and neither groups activities nor public gatherings are allowed. Religious places can open but no devotee will be allowed. Also people have to follow covid-19 protocols to safe from the third wave of pandemic.

Mr Kejriwal stated the media that "If the cases of infection keep decreasing in the current manner, then our life will gradually come back on track. It is a great tragedy and we all have to face it together," .
