PM Modi Addresses Public Rally!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Addresses a public rally in Jalandhar. This rally was full of security forces and full-fledged with vigilance after the security breach issue.

During his rally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a new slogan "Nava Punjab, BJP de naal" that translates to "New Punjab with BJP."

The Prime Minister said that the people of Punjab have decided to change and they will certainly vote for the NDA alliance here. "New chapter of development will start in Punjab if the BJP-led alliance comes to power," the PM said.

According to the statement given by ANI, “I wanted to offer prayers at Tripurmalini Devi Shaktipeeth after this event, but the administration and police said they will not be able to make the arrangements. This is the situation of the government here.

But I will surely offer prayers at Shaktipeeth soon,” PM Modi said during his visit to Jalandhar.

This was the first visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi after repealing the farm laws.

On January 5, there was a lapse in the prime minister's security when he was stuck atop a flyover for 15-20 minutes while on his way to Ferozpur, Punjab due to the road blocked by some protestors ahead of his visit.

The assembly polls for the Punjab state for electing 117 assembly seats will take place on February 20.

The counting of votes will take place on March 10.  In 2017, Congress had won an absolute majority by winning 77 seats and ousted the SAD-BJP government which had been in power for 10 years.
