Navy Day celebration- President Kovind and PM Modi praise Indian Navy for their courage and strength.

4th of December, Navy Day celebrated in India with pride.


India celebrates Navy Day to commemorate the Indian Navy's attack on the port of Karachi during the 1971 Indo-Pak war. On Friday as India celebrated Navy Day, President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders praised the Navy.

President Ram Nath Kovind on Friday greeted Indian Navy personnel on Navy Day and said India was proud of their commitment to protecting maritime borders, protecting trade routes and providing assistance in public emergencies.

“On Navy Day, I salute our Navy personnel, veterans, and their families. The nation is proud of your commitment to protecting our maritime borders, protecting our trade routes, and providing emergency public assistance. May you always rule the waters. Jai Hind! ”Said President Kovind on Twitter.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also applauded the Indian Navy on the Day of the Navy, saying they have fearlessly defended the country's coast and provided assistance during times of need.

PM Modi in his tweeter comment applauded indian Navy by writing, "Congratulations to the Navy Day for all our skilled sailors and their families. The Indian navy bravely defends our coast and provides assistance where needed. We also remember India's rich maritime culture for centuries,".

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh shared a video of Indian Navy personnel on duty and in his tweet, “During Indian Navy Day 2020, I greet you and wish you all the best in the Armed Forces. The Indian Army is at the forefront of keeping our ocean safe by ensuring maritime security. I pay tribute to their heroism, courage and hard work. ”
