NDPS court called for Aryan khan’s passport release

Aryan Khan has been granted bail and the court also ordered his passport release

A special court of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (NDPS) on Wednesday dismissed the bail bond of Aryan khan, the son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, from the drug bust case on a cruise. The court also ordered his passport release which was deposited by Aryan on the high court order on October 28, 2021. Aryan Khan has been granted bail.

A special NDPS judge VV Patil while cancelling the bail bond and discharging his surety, actor Juhi Chawla, said “As submitted on behalf of both the parties, respondents (the Narcotics Control Bureau) after investigation filed a complaint against 14 out of 20 persons. Admittedly, no complaint was filed against six persons, including the present applicant, as no material evidence surfaced during the investigation,”.

The order was passed after the NCB submitted its no objection certificate on Khan’s plea on June 30 for dismissal of his bail bond, discharge of the surety and return of his passport. The NCB submitted his no objection certificate on Wednesday.

The NCB stated a reply to the plea saying that “no complaint (charge sheet) was filed against six persons (arrested in the cruise ship case), including the present applicant (Aryan) as no material evidence surfaced during the investigation which could connect the said six persons to the instant case. The applicant is not an accused in the instant case no investigation is pending against him.”

The NCB did not name him as an accused in the charge sheet filed this may as there was no sufficient evidence on him.
