G. Krishnakumar took over with his new beginning at Bharat Petroleum
On 18 March 2023, the Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and the Maharatna and Fortune Global 500 Company announced G. Krishnakumar as its new chairman and managing director.
G. Krishnakumar is an electrical engineer from NIT Tiruchirapalli and did his master's in financial management from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai.
He served BPCL for 36 years under his diverse leadership experience across the business and functional domains. He worked in revolutionizing the downstream fuel retailing industry in the company and also served as the head of the BPCL's lubricant business.
As per the company's official information, he will be in charge of further changes and developments starting today itself.
