New developments in the Udaipur Murder Case

Reveal connections to Pakistani extremist group!

A new investigation reveals that the two radicalised killers have links to a Sunni Islamist group Dawat-e-Islami, based in Karachi. The two murderers were arrested by the Rajasthan Police at Rajsamand as they were on their way to shoot another video at Ajmer Sharif for propaganda and to avenge Prophet Mohammed.

Attari and Mohammed justified the death of Kanhiya Lal by saying that his support was an act of blasphemy. The two notorious killers have even threatened PM Narendra Modi in a video. Attari and Mohammed have been served under the UAPA and their case is now to be handled by the National Investigation Agency.

The interrogation of the two convicts revealed they have had close relationships with Dawat-e-Islami in Karachi and they even belong to the Barelvi sect of Sunni Islam. Counter-terror officials are investigating further into their links with Sunni extremist groups in India.

Dawat-e-Islami is known for actively spreading and advocating the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah. They propagate Sharia Law globally and have a massive number of supports in Pakistan.

This new development in the case worries the national leaders as the establishment of extremists groups and terror-driven acts are evidently rising. The Home Ministry is closely following the murder of Kanhiya Lal and to investigate if the convicts had links to the extremist Popular Front of India (PFI).

The internal security of the nation is at stake as the PFI in the name of the Sunni resurgence movement is increasing rapidly in the country.
