INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS DAY 2021
The National Human Rights and Humanitarian Federation (NHRF) celebrated International Human Rights Day today. This day is celebrated on December 10. The main purpose to celebrate this day is to aware the population about our basic human rights, the rights we have, the rights we can use.
Shafeeq Shahul hameed (Founder Chairman NHRF) said,”Human Rights Day reminds us of our powers to stop any injustice or abuse by any authority. Let us come together to celebrate those powerful rights".
Further he added, “Our hopes for a more just, safe and peaceful world can only be achieved when there is universal respect for the inherent dignity and equal rights of all members of the human family ". “Many people are still unaware of their rights such as- freedom to speech, freedom to live, liberty and security. We should know our rights and fight for the right”.
The NHRF is also celebrating its 3rd Foundation Day. The celebration has begun from today onwards (10th December 2021) and will continue till 16th December 2021. This will also include several programs like Virtual Human Rights Awareness Programs and other Humanitarian activities for the Promotion of Human Rights.
