Night Curfew Imposed along with International Border in Jammu...

Security beeped up at IB...

The Samba district administration after the consultation with high level Border Security Forces officials (BSF) decided to impose night curfew all along International Border (IB) in Samba district from 3rd January.

According to Anuradha Gupta, the District Commissioner of Samba, “The night curfew is imposed in areas up to 1 km of international border samba from 9 pm to 6 am in the morning for two months”.

She further added that no person or a group is allowed to go in that area during that time and asked to carry their ID or documents while emergency traveling. All the villagers were informed about the order and asked to follow the rules.

Following the orders, Deputy SP Garu Ram Bhardwaj mentioned that due to heavy snowfall in the hilly areas and the fog increased the chances of infiltration across the international border areas. The order proved to be helpful for the Border Security Forces (BSF) to monitor the border walls.

The Border Security Force informed that they are ready and capable to deal with any challenges for the security and harmony of the Nation and the step of imposition of section 144 is a great idea to help the security forces.
