5 people arrested...
The main accused Sahil Gehlot, along with 4 others including his father, his friends and cousins were arrested by the crime branch on charge of 25 years old Nikki Yadav murder case on 18 February 2023.
Following the incident, the special CP Ravinder Yadav confirmed that Sahil Gehlot's father, identified as Virendra Singh, was arrested for helping his son in the conspiracy of murder. Sahil's brother and friends helped him to hide Nikki's body in the fridge.
After the interrogation, Sahil confessed that Nikki was with him on 9 February and he killed her in the parking lot near Nigam Bodh Ghat and later switched off her phone.
The accused were booked under section 120 B criminal conspiracy of Indian penal Code IPC.
As per the information, Sahil Gehlot and Nikki Yadav lived in a live-in relationship and tied the knot in October 2020 at a temple in Noida.
