No bail for Aryan Khan today; next hearing on October 20

The 23-year-old was arrested in the drugs-on-cruise rave party case and has again been sent to jail.

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan did not get bail today from the Mumbai Sessions Court as his bail plea is still pending and the order will be pronounced on October 20. The 23-year-old was arrested in the drugs-on-cruise rave party case and has again been sent to jail.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) said in the court that Aryan Khan is not a first-time drug consumer but a "regular consumer of drugs for the last few years."

Aryan's advocate Amit Desai said that WhatsApp chats are supposed to be private conversations and casual conversations between friends can often be misunderstood. He claimed that there are no chats or conversations on Aryan's mobile about the rave party.

Mr Desai argued that Aryan did not possess drugs when he was arrested. However, Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh said that Arbaaz Merchant had drugs with him as 6 grams of "charas" was seized from him and Aryan was with him.
